I did not know that the Rothschild family were an average, middle-class banking family. Oh, my bad – they are not! So it is amusing to me that prominent Hillary Clinton supporter Lynn Forester de Rothschild had that audacity to call Senator Barack Obama, “elitist.”

CNN reported today that Forrester, who is also a member of the Democratic National Committee, is set to endorse John McCain, because she “doesn’t like Obama.” Not only are her comments blatantly absurd, but the fact the she’s a member of one of the most powerful banking families in the world – who’s estimated wealth is in the hundreds of billions, makes her decision to back the Republican nominee all the more alarming.

This move gives creedence to the notion that something’s afoot in Clinton land, and there might be some more painful surprises for the Obama campaign in the weeks, if not days to come.
